Hardship Policy

Categories: Financial Aid

Tuition Equalization Grant recipients not completing 24 hours in their first academic year and/or unable to acquire a 1.75 GPA may be the recipient of a hardship waiver. Hardships include but are not all inclusive: children at home, finances, a death in the family, family problems, military, illness, work and transfer from other colleges or universities.

Exceptions to the above penalties may be made by the Financial Aid Officer based upon documented data indicating unusual or unavoidable hardships which may influence the student’s ability to make satisfactory academic progress.
